Ingredients:
3 dozen Clams, minced
2 oz salt pork, diced
3 cups water
1 ½ cups onion, sliced
6 cups potatoes, cubed
4 ½ tsp salt
½ tsp pepper
2 small bay leaves, whole
4 cups scalded milk
2 cups light cream
3 cups clam juice
3 Tbsp butter, melted
2 Tbsp flour
Directions:
1. Sautè diced pork in a skillet until brown.
2. Combine water, pork, onions, potatoes, salt, pepper and bay leaves in a large pot and bring to a boil.
3. Reduce heat and cook 20 minutes.
4. Add scalded milk, cream, clams and juice.
5. In a separate pan blend butter and flour.
6. Add mixture to the pot and simmer 15 minutes.
